Report 121: Emergency medical care and the restricted right to practice [PDF, 284Kb], April 2009
[The Law Reform Commission is to] inquire into and report on whether it is appropriate to amend the Medical Practice Act 1992, and in particular the definition of unsatisfactory professional conduct, and any other related like legislation, so as to make plain whether individuals whose legal right to practise medicine is restricted ought to be under any, and if so what, obligation to provide emergency medical care contrary to the restriction on their right to practise.
